New eden

Imagine that you are not satisfied with life on Earth. What will you do? Fly to a new planet like movie characters  "Passengers" (director Morten Tildum, 2016). They have yet to find out what their dreams will turn out to be.

Jim (Chris Pratt) and Aurora (Jennifer Lawrence), passengers on the Avalon spacecraft, which is taking five thousand people to Home Abode 2, where they will live. All are immersed in artificial sleep before arrival, but only the heroes woke up ahead of schedule, and there are still 90 years ahead. They become prisoners of the ship, two in a terrible space, and a feeling arises between them.

Avalon, on which heroes fly,  -  a dream starship built with the latest technology: an android waiter, robots, high-quality service. Isn't it a modern Eden? (Garden of Eden in the Bible, where the first people lived - author's note).

In it, Aurora and Jim live carefree, like New Adam and Eva.

At first, they seem to be born again: they come out of hibernation (the state of the organism in which its vital activity slows down -  approx. auth.) . It seems that the heroes are pure, like the first people, they enjoy the benefits of their garden, but they taste the forbidden fruit of knowledge: they try to figure out what to do, rush between the desire to fall asleep again or to live as it is. As if in revenge for this, Eden-Avalon brings down all evil on them: the ship crashes and Jim and Aurora are on the verge of death, but are fighting for survival. Space itself wants to expel them from the paradise-ship, sending asteroids to it. Here the heroes have already been thrown out of it, dangling on fragile cables, face to face with the emptiness of space, but not for long. They manage to survive, because the lives of thousands of people were at stake.

Jim plants a tree in the main hall and it resembles the Tree of Life ( biblical image, a tree in the middle of the Garden of Eden, the fruits of which give eternal life -
author's note) and a real garden grows out of it, a gift for people who wake up from their sleep at the end of the film. A small paradise of love between two heroes turned into a big, blooming one. And even if the heroes did not have eternal life, they seem to have been able to preserve their feeling for many years, but isn't that the most important thing?
