Family like the sun
It illuminated everyone at the Festival of Young Families-2018 , which took place on March 17 at the Piterland shopping and entertainment center, St. Petersburg.
The grand opening of the festival began with a speech by Olga Kryuchkova, head of the department for social programs and patriotic education of the Committee for Youth Policy and Interaction with Public Organizations of St. Petersburg . She noted the importance of the festival and spoke about the eventful program of the event:
“Realizing the importance of family and our family well-being, we are holding the“ Festival of Young Families ”for the seventh time. And this has already become a real good tradition for St. Petersburg. Today we have prepared interactive games, educational quizzes, creative workshops for all guests, where absolutely everyone can find something to their liking. "
The guests were able to enjoy bright performances, practical master classes, professional advice and useful lectures. An interactive photo zone with a photo booth and a fantastic science show " Science" worked on the site. An entertainment zone "Know-it-all" was arranged for the most resourceful, and young pathfinders could try themselves in tourist games from the Life Style active recreation club. Inquiring minds could visit the site under the control of the Kulttour quest studio , and at master classes they could learn speedcubing, make a real magic wand, and try themselves in right-hemispheric drawing. For young mothers and fathers, there were consulting rooms from professional experts in jurisprudence, psychology, health and proper nutrition, state support programs and subsidies for young families. The most popular was the “Trail of Trust” family quest, in which guests completed tasks, and the most successful were awarded prizes and gifts from partners and organizers of the festival.
The most diverse performances were awaited from the main stage: from classic touching songs and bright dance numbers, to the most magical tricks and acrobatic rock and roll! On the territory of the shopping and entertainment complex, an exposition of photographs-winners of the city photo competition "Family Petersburg - 2018" was presented. The winners were awarded valuable prizes - photo frames and an action camera. Also, specially for the event for all guests, the Committee on Youth Policy released an information brochure on state support programs for young families. In it you can find all the most relevant information about the federal target program "Housing", "Young Family", state programs "Youth - Affordable Housing" and "Family Car", as well as about maternity capital, a one-time compensation payment to women and the program "Dairy Kitchen ".
The Festival of Young Families has brought together different generations. The event brought together moms and dads, children of different ages, grandparents, as well as young couples who could have fun and usefully spend time together, make new acquaintances and celebrate the arrival of spring.
