OCEAN OF SPRING

KU KU Party

He boiled in the center of Moscow, at the KU KU Party art party from the Rott Modern Art project of Moscow artists Jeanne Lett and Dima Rovel. It took place on February 26 at the Sanctions bar.

I dive into the club like an underwater world. Blue-green spotlights like algae are burning. They move on their own to the energetic beats from DJ Pasha Lee, creating subdued lighting.
It contains bright people, similar to goldfish: they float around the hall, listening to music, or sit at tables, as in coral reefs, waiting for something unusual. What if the prince and princess of this water kingdom will appear now? Here they are: Jeanne Lette and Dima Rovel, impudent, fiery, like a demon of water and Beowulf from the film of the same name (2007). They mingle with guests, but always in sight, attract them to themselves.

"KU KU Party is the first party that brings together all directors, screenwriters, artists, photographers. Our most important task is to create just a good platform for creative people to periodically gather in one place: talk, talk, hang out, got acquainted.

It's like Andy Warhol and "The Factory" (the creative studio of the artist, the founder of pop art, where creators gathered. Existed in the 60s and 80s of the 20th century - author's note). We are also trying to make the same "Factory" in Moscow with our music, our artists. Do it out of the box, turn everything inside out as much as possible in order to show people: you can talk, you can create, you can do anything you want, any boom, "says Dima.

I examine everything around: shiny balls hang above. You can imagine that these are small islands on the surface. And here, below, life is gradually boiling over: the music is getting louder, gaining momentum - it is the bearded DJs from the S-Brother-S project who are kindling. They, like two from the casket, appear unexpectedly to blow up the hall. The melody rolls over in waves and they become larger, covering people with their heads. There are more and more people on the dance floor, the movements are more and more open.

I feel myself picking up my emotional wave. But ahead is a real tsunami: models appear in the center of the hall, a guy and a girl in sexy images and begin to slowly dance, like gutta-percha mermaids. They then merge with each other, but separate. Their movements resemble a light erotic game. Who will win it?
Everywhere - general relaxation: everyone seemed to have thrown off their clothes out of fears, complexes and remained naked in their emotions. And how could it be otherwise, if people let spring into themselves?
