LIFE IN STYLE  JAZZ
ALINA ROSTOTSKAYA AND MAXIM SHIBIN

Алина Ростоцкая Jazzmobile

How does it sound? Like sophisticated music  Alina Rostotskaya . Participant of numerous Russian and foreign festivals, finalist of the "Big Jazz" project, the singer gives  concert  v  Open Club  May 16, 2017 at 20:00.

Alina Rostotskaya's main project is Jazzmobile. Today it is one of the most popular Moscow jazz bands. The singer herself writes music and arrangements of jazz standards. She experiments with styles, sings in both English and Russian, and often without words at all, using her voice as an instrument. The singer's warm and memorable timbre, coupled with rare instrumental thinking and a subtle sense of style, gives the listener the opportunity to get in touch with real music.

"In my case, it was not love from the first note, not at all! I was born into a family of musicians (mother -  choir theorist and conductor, dad  -  keyboardist and head of a pop ensemble), dad constantly tried to force me to listen to classics and jazz, which is probably why I did not like either one or the other in my childhood. I really liked Sting, Billy Joel, Elton John, Chris Rea, Whitney Houston ... From jazz I liked only Al Jarreau. And then, after graduating from a music school, having received an excellent stage school in musical theater, having entered the production department at the RATI (GITIS), I accidentally ended up at a jam session in one of the Moscow clubs. And then the magic happened! I realized that I want to be involved in this world, I want to understand how musicians do it, I want to stand next to them on the same stage ... And this desire of mine began to come true very quickly "  - Alina tells about her meeting with jazz.

Author's compositions and
folk  in jazz arrangements will sound within the walls of the Open Club performed by the brilliant Alina Rostotskaya and the amazing guitarist Maxim Shibin. Listen to music -  become a part of the wonderful world!
